Terms and Conditions for PGI Transplant Games 2025

By registering for and participating in the PGI Transplant Games 2025, you agree to comply with the following Terms and Conditions. Please read these carefully before registering.

1. Declaration of Health and Fitness

  1. By participating in the event, you confirm that:
    • You are in good health and physically fit to take part in the activities associated with this event.
    • You have consulted with a medical professional, if necessary, and have received clearance to participate in physical activities such as [list specific sports/activities, if relevant].
    • You do not have any medical conditions that may pose a risk to yourself or others during the event.
  2. The organizers reserve the right to request a fitness or medical certificate at any time before or during the event. If any participant is found to be unfit or unable to continue safely, the organizers may, at their discretion, request the participant to withdraw from further activities for their safety.

2. Limitation of Liability

  1. While the organizers will take all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of participants, you acknowledge and agree that participation in sporting events involves inherent risks, including but not limited to injuries, illnesses, or accidents.
  2. By registering for and participating in the event, you agree that the organizers — PGIMER, Chandigarh; ROTTO; ORGAN India; and Team India at the World Transplant Games — will not be held liable for:
    • Any personal injury, illness, or medical condition that arises during or after the event.
    • Any loss or damage to personal property during the event.
    • Any consequential damages resulting from participation in the event.
  3. Participants are encouraged to have appropriate personal health and accident insurance coverage for the duration of the event.

3. Registration Fee

  1. The registration fee for the event, once paid, is non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to withdrawal, disqualification, or non-attendance by the participant.
  2. The registration fee covers administrative expenses, event-related logistics, and other costs incurred by the organizers, regardless of actual participation.

4. Medical Assistance

  1. In case of any medical emergency, the organizers will make reasonable efforts to arrange for immediate medical assistance.
  2. By participating in the event, you authorize the organizers to administer or seek medical treatment on your behalf, should it be necessary. Any medical expenses incurred will be the responsibility of the participant.

5. Code of Conduct

  1. All participants are expected to behave respectfully towards fellow participants, volunteers, staff, and organizers. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or misconduct will not be tolerated.
  2. Participants must follow instructions from event staff and adhere to the safety guidelines provided during the event.

6. Consent for Media Use

  1. By participating in the event, you grant the organizers permission to photograph, film, or otherwise record your participation. These materials may be used for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, websites, and marketing materials.
  2. If you do not wish to have your images used for promotional purposes, you must notify the organizers in writing before the event.

7. Withdrawal and Disqualification

  1. Participants may withdraw from the event at any time. However, as per Section 3, registration fees are non-refundable.
  2. The organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant who fails to comply with these terms and conditions or engages in unsafe or disruptive behavior.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chandigarh, India.

9. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for and participating in PGI Transplant Games, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. You acknowledge that your participation is entirely voluntary and that you accept the inherent risks involved.
